Flu Clinic Appointments will be available using our automated telephone system 24/7, or as online appointments. Alternatively please call our reception team to book your flu appointment.

 

SMS Reminder Cancelling Appointment 3 Days notice

 

Please remember to text back the word "CANCEL" ONLY, as soon as you recieve your appointment reminder to successfully cancel your appointment should you no longer need it. If you opt to text back cancel too close to the actual appointment time/date, the appointment will not be successfully cancelled and will be shown on the surgery system as a DNA (Did not attend).  

 

Short Notice Appointment cancellation under 2 days notice

If you wish to cancel close to the appointment time this can be successfully done by using the auto telephone system which allows cancellation of any appointment 24/7. Follow the instruction below on accessing the automated telephone system. Alternatively call reception, appointments can often be filled with 30-45 minutes notice.

 

To cancel any pre-existing appointment with us 

 Please use the surgery automated appt booking system which operates 24 hours a day.

 It means patients can cancel appts even during off peak periods,

 lessening the burden on staff during the very busy periods of the day

 

Accessing the automated telephone system

 

Ring the main surgery number 0118 9352121 and select to use the automated appt booking system. An option will be given to book, change or cancel a booked GP appointment. Request this option and follow the instructions given. (You can actually cancel any booked appointment with any clinician using this option.)

 

 Please note

 

Only registered patients already added to our computer system can access the automated appt booking system. To verify your identity, and enable you to use the automated system, it will require your date of birth and your correctly recorded main contact number. If you have difficulties accessing our automated system please contact the reception team during our opening hours to ensure your registration status and contact details are up to date and correct.
