We aim to complete all repeat prescriptions within two working days following the request being made.
To prevent an error, repeat prescription requests must be made in writing/fax/online and normally only be for medication that we have already prescribed for you on an ongoing basis. Should there be any doubt about your request, you will be asked to see a clinician.
Where you would like us to post the prescription to you, please supply a SAE.
Although we endeavour to always keep the main site open during our hours of operation, there may be times when both surgeries will be closed over the lunchtime period because of necessary staff training. Pleasebear this in mind when arranging to collect your prescription.
Please note when we are closed, any repeat prescription requests can be posted through our staff entrance door letter box, which is sited on the Alexandra Road side of our building.
Repeat Requests for Holiday periods Should you require additional supplies of medicaton to your usual repeat amounts (i.e, to cover a planned holiday away) please make sure this is made clear in your request to us. Please be aware the surgery has a policy on total quantities it can issue for holiday cover and these are enforced on the basis of Patient Safety and Best Practice Prescribing Guidelines.
