Online Repeat Prescription request service is changing August 2018

Please be advised any patients currently ordering their repeat medication through this website will soon no longer be able to do so, as we move all our online services to "Patient online Services".

All patients already making online appointments and viewing their medical record will already have access to the new repeat prescription ordering service so need to take no further action if they have already brought in their ID documentation and signed up to these services.

For all patients ONLY ordering their repeat medication on line, please note we will need you to complete the online registration paperwork and supply the surgery with photo ID prior to being able to access "Patient Online Services" see the bottom of this home page for more information.

Is a Repeat Medication Review Due?medication4

Please be aware that when your last item has been issued on any repeat medication request you will need to make your next medication request two weeks BEFORE your medication is due to run out. This is because you may need to attend the surgery for a medication review with a surgery clinician or require further monitoring tests prior to the issue of further repeats.

Please be aware that ongoing monitoring tests are a "best practice" safety essential that all our surgery prescribers must comply with when issuing their patients medications on any repeat basis. Your medication dosage may also need periodic adjusting and this is why we would ask our patients to comply with this request.

Remember that any query prescription requests do take the administration team longer to process

Patients do sometimes ask for repeats of items they have previously only had as an acute prescription. Please be aware our 48 hour turnaround time applies to standard repeat medications where a review is not required. These requests and outstanding review requests must be reviewed by a clinician and will therefore take the team longer to process. We always aim to complete these within a 72 hour window.

Difficulties obtaining your medication?

Please always try at least two pharmacies to obtain your prescribed medication (one of which should be an independent Pharmacy e.g. Erleigh Road Pharmacy or Newdays at Coley Park.) before contacting the surgery to request an alternative.
